Abounding in deep pine forests, this romantic region is a great place for summer recreation. Stretching from the town of Mělník to Česká Lípa, the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area is full of narrow valleys and sandstone rock formations, the most famous of which are the so-called rock lids located in a valley of the same name.
